Dance of the dark afternoons

If I were rain and the light all just dimmed

For a city that's parched in waiting

I wish you were wind that sways my hips

When I splash on a face that's sweating

I pause for the girl who needs her apron

For the day's last hairdo is pending

Then I glide down the shiny red raincoat

Of the boy on a bike who is bringing

You throw your might in spells that are gusty

I figure out an eight on the surface

Of a pool that was full of noisy children

Who are back to their screens of nonsense

I twirl in your tune as you hum one jolly

For a sweet serenade is so tempting

Ignore I was cross with you for a while

When you shut me all out for my grifting

We'd play hide'n'seek and rinse those windows

A story lurks always for a-peeping

I cheat once more, you cut me to pieces

Such a death is so worth this living

I drip down the ledge, seep into feathers

Of pigeons who are so fondly mating

You blow me once more and wear me out

To scatter me in pits of forgetting

বেশ বেশ। দিব্বি তো। তবে ধরা যাক এর সঙ্গে একটা আবৃত্তি করা রেকর্ডিং থাকত, তবে বেশ হতো।
